Thank you for being here! My name is Roy T. Buchanan. I am a Strength & Conditioning Coach by profession and a strength trainee by obsession. While originally from the Black Hills of South Dakota, I have lived in Gillette, Wyoming for well over a decade and now call it my home.
I operate Strength Training of Wyoming, a program aimed to develop junior high and high school athletes who are interested in improved athletic and sport performance.
I have been a passionate Strength & Conditioning Coach here in Gillette, Wyoming for my entire time here. I enjoy working with our developing youth athletes—especially the ones who are strongly driven towards self-improvement.
Strength Training of Wyoming offers both private personal training as well as small-groups training. Everything is goal-oriented and specific to the needs of the athlete and sport.
Typical direction entails improving the underlying physical qualities that pertain to strength, power, and speed. This is always done in conjunction with improvements in mobility, stability, motor control, and injury risk management.
I only ever offer what works. No gimmicks, tricks, scams, empty promises, or flashy marketing to fool you. I offer evidence-based methodology that is well-grounded in the scientific literature.
